Many avid skateboarders just toss their old board away when purchasing a new one from places like GoldCoast Skateboards, but Nick Pourfard had  a better idea.  What not combine his two passions, guitars and skateboarding.

It all started when he was just 18, he wanted a guitar that had sentimental value, not just the same thing that anyone could buy off the shelf.  That is when he came across a stack of used skateboards that he no longer used.  The self taught wood worker went to work crafting a one of a kind guitar.

Winter Storm could Lead to Delayed Trash Service

Waste Management of Wichita notified their customers this week, that due to weather conditions, trash hauling may be delayed.

Predictions of snow and ice may prevent regularly scheduled pick ups especially for rural areas of Wichita.

“We are working to get your pick up service back on schedule as soon as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience,” said Lisa Disbrow of Waste Management.
