Tanzania Posts Corporation has Internet Cafe at Dar es Salaam General Post Office.

Services  offered in the Internet cafe are:

• Internet browsing
• Normal Computer services
• Printing services
• Telephone services

Internet Browsing

• When a customer comes to the counter the operator set the time of the PC the customer is going to use.

• When the time is over the computer will be disconnected, all the work that was unsaved will not be lost and if the customer wishes to continue he can increase the time and finish his/ her work.

• The customer will have to pay first before using the computer.

Normal Computer Services

• Customers that need computer services e.g. writing documents using Microsoft Office software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel e.t.c.) can use the computers and they will be timed as explained above.

Printing Services

• Customers can bring and print the documents which were created somewhere else.

• Also customer can print their mails or documents they have downloaded from the Internet.

• Customers can print the documents that have been created at the café.

• All the above will be charged independently to the charges for time taken to use the computer.

Multimedia Services

• The café is equipped with multimedia facilities which will enable customers to have a wide choice of communication services e.g. discussion via the voice facilities, listen or view live news via the web, communicate with colleagues through chatting services.
